Arch Of Titus

The Arch of Titus, built by the Romans, is one of the tourist attractions in Rome. It commemorates the siege and conquest of Jerusalem by the general Titus, the later Roman Emperor, in 70 AD. This was preceded by an uprising of the Jews against the Roman occupiers.

3 million people were in the city for Passover. Most of them fell victim to the atrocities of the war. Some were taken as slaves, many others fled. Refugees remember.
